Trump urged Europe not to spare money on Ukraine

Germany, France, and other European Union countries should allocate more money to Ukraine. US President Donald Trump stated, reports Free News.
According to him, Ukraine now has many problems. “Why do we spend money, and they (EU countries) no? Compared to us, they spend little, and I’m not happy about that,” Trump said.

In June, the US Senate allowed the Pentagon to allocate $ 300 million for Ukrainian defense. It was reported that for this amount Kyiv, in particular, will receive equipment for current training programs, sniper rifles and grenade launchers, radars, communication equipment, and night vision devices.

In addition to the funds that go through the US Defense Department, in 2019, Ukraine will receive $ 445 million through the state Department. Taking into account these funds over the past five years, the total amount of money allocated by the United States only for the development of the Ukrainian army amounted to more than 1.5 billion dollars.
