Trump turned up the pressure on Iran

US President Donald Trump advised the Iranian authorities to “be careful” with statements about the terms of the nuclear deal. About it reports Fox News.

According to the channel, Trump also said that Iran “will never get nuclear weapons.” He called the Joint comprehensive action plan (JCPOA) signed by his predecessor Barack Obama “the stupidest agreement imaginable.”

US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo announced on Twitter that the actions of the Islamic Republic to move away from compliance with the JCPOA will lead to further isolation and new sanctions.

On July 7, it became known that Iran began to enrich uranium above the level of 3.67 percent — the limit defined by the JCPOA. According to the Minister of the energy of Israel Yuval Steinitz, a plan of uranium enrichment — a moderate step, however, Iran “started the difficult path to a nuclear weapon.”

On July 1, Tehran announced that it had accumulated more low-enriched uranium than was permitted by an international agreement. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that this step is not a violation, and pointed out that the country exercises its right to respond to the US withdrawal from the transaction.
