The US President gave a speech in Louisiana and urged residents of the state to vote for the Republican candidate for Governor.
President Donald Trump said that the United States is winning the war with radical Islamic terrorists. Trump said this while delivering a speech to voters Wednesday night in Monroe, Louisiana.
The main purpose of Trump’s visit is to support Eddie Rispone, who is running for Governor of Louisiana from the Republican Party. Rispone, according to Trump, “will be a wonderful Governor of Louisiana.”
“Under the leadership of the Republican Party, the economy is booming, wages are rising, confidence in the future is at a high level, and America is now more powerful than ever,” the President said.
Trump also noted the role of Louisiana, “home to some of the world’s best energy workers,” in making the US the world’s leading producer of oil and natural gas.
The President reminded voters that America is successfully rebuilding its armed forces. “Do you know where the missiles, jets, ships, – where all this equipment-released? All made in America. Isn’t that wonderful?” Trump said.
Donald Trump also said that the US is winning the war on international terrorism. “You saw last week: the monster Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is a dead man,” the President said. This remark was received with a thunderous ovation.
“Our message to these bloodthirsty savages is clear: you have no chance against the righteous might of the US armed forces,” Donald Trump stressed.
