Medicines or a coronavirus vaccine will be delivered to the US by the military, US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday.
“(Pentagon chief) Mark Esper has become quite an important figure in medicine because his military will distribute preventative drugs, or medicines, or vaccines mark and the military will deliver them. He has hundreds of thousands of people ready to do this job,” he said in response to a question from a journalist at a Cabinet meeting.
According to Trump, it is the military that will be able to cope with this on such a scale in a short time. He replied that the work on the vaccine and prevention tools is going very well. Earlier, Trump said that the US authorities expect to receive the vaccine at the end of the year or earlier.
