Trump taunted Pelosi for tearing up his speech

US President Donald Trump posted a video on his Twitter page. On it, the speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, tears up the President’s speech sheet again and again.

Recall that after Trump’s speech to Congress with the annual State of the Union address, Pelosi tore up her copy of the President’s speech. Before that, she held out her hand to the President, but he turned away.

The video that Trump posted is called “Powerful American stories ripped to shreds by Nancy Pelosi.” The video is edited from Trump’s speech in Congress: after each of his addresses to the military or heroes of the country, after each of his statements about the state of the country, there are inserted shots of Pelosi tearing up the President’s speech.

Trump and Pelosi represent different parties and have long conflicted. The situation escalated when the Pelosi-led House of Representatives announced the start of impeachment proceedings against Trump. The US Senate acquitted Trump on February 5 on charges of abuse of power and obstructing the work of Congress.
