Trump spoke about the progress in trade negotiations between the US and Japan

US President Donald Trump reported “great progress” in trade negotiations with Japan.

“Much attention is paid to agriculture and meat,” he said on Twitter. The American President noted that he expects a lot after the parliamentary elections in Japan in July.

Recall, now Mr. Trump is on a four-day state visit to Japan. He met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and played Golf with him.

During the visit, Donald Trump also plans to meet with Emperor Naruhito, visit the sumo match and US military base. This state visit will be the longest visit of the American President to Japan since 1992.
