Trump signed the $ 2.2 trillion law

President of the United States Donald Trump signed the law (CARES Act), providing for the allocation of assistance to the American economy for a record amount of 2.2 trillion dollars.

In a tweet, Trump wrote: “I just signed the CARES Act, the largest economic aid package in American history — twice the size of the largest previously passed package. The $ 2.2 trillion law will provide urgent assistance to families, workers and businesses in our country.”

Earlier, Trump ordered the General Motors Corporation to start producing fans needed to provide medical care to victims of the coronavirus epidemic. This order was issued following the recently activated law granting the head of state the appropriate powers.

Earlier, General Motors announced that it plans to start producing fans in conjunction with Ventec Life Systems at one of its plants in Indiana.
