Trump sent a “warm” telegram to the head of Kazakhstan

US President Donald Trump sent a telegram to the head of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in which he expressed readiness to cooperate in the sphere of political modernization of the Republic.

According to the press service of the Kazakh leader, trump congratulated Tokayev on the anniversary of his election as President of Kazakhstan.

“Your ambitious program of reforms aimed at political modernization deserves high praise. The United States supports your goals to increase public confidence in the state and strengthen the protection of fundamental freedoms that are the foundation of a prosperous and dynamic society. We are ready to cooperate with you on implementing these initiatives as part of our expanded strategic partnership,” Trump wrote.

The US President noted the work of the President of Kazakhstan during the pandemic.

“I would also like to note your resolute actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We will continue our joint efforts aimed at ending the pandemic and restoring the economy in the post-pandemic period, ” the message reads.

Trump wished the head of Kazakhstan good health, success, and prosperity.
