Trump says China should reimburse the world for $ 10 trillion in losses for the pandemic

The former president stressed that this amount is the “lower threshold,” the damage was much greater.

The Chinese authorities owe the countries of the world about $10 trillion for the losses suffered by the world community due to the coronavirus pandemic, the outbreak of which was first recorded in China. This was stated on Saturday by former US President Donald Trump, speaking at the North Carolina Republican Convention. The broadcast was hosted by C-Span.

“All countries should unite and bill China at least $10 trillion to compensate for the losses that they [the Chinese] have caused,” Trump said, adding that this is “the lower threshold, and the damage is much greater” than the amount he announced. The former president also suggested that all countries of the world should abandon their debt obligations to the PRC.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, about 172.7 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in the world, and more than 3.7 million have died.
