Trump saved millions of American lives from COVID

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany says that the American leader Donald Trump saved millions of lives of his fellow citizens with his recommendations on quarantine.

Often, local authorities at the state and County levels imposed quarantines, while Federal authorities only distributed recommendations. The US President opposed the quarantine from the very beginning, then recognized it as a necessary measure, and later began to call for an early “opening” of the economy in compliance with security measures.

“It was the right decision. The President saved 3-4 million lives. But we also need to take into account the other side of the health data – how long-term quarantines affect Americans,” McEnany was quoted as saying.

She clarified that the diagnosis of cancer during the quarantine has decreased by 80%, and this also leads to the death of people.

The current American leader took credit for avoiding the death of two million people in the United States from COVID-19.

The United States remains the world’s leader in the sad statistics of deaths – more than 140 thousand died patients with coronavirus and more than 3.8 million cases of infection.
