Trump said that London needs a new mayor

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump once again criticized the mayor of London Sadiq Khan, saying that the British capital needs a new mayor.

The head of the White House on his Twitter page made a report of the publication of British journalist and blogger Katie Hopkins that in London in less than 24 hours in the attacks three people were killed and three others were injured. “London needs a new mayor as soon as possible. Khan is a real disaster, and it’s only going to get worse!”- commented on the record of Hopkins American President.

Sadiq Khan is among the critics of trump’s policy. In early June, before the US President’s visit to the UK in his article published on Sunday by the newspaper Observer, Khan placed Trump on a par with right-wing European politicians resorting to the rhetoric that, according to the London mayor, was popular with the Nazis in the first half of the XX century. According to Khan, although the United Kingdom and the United States are allies who share a special relationship, the British authorities needed to openly Express their concern about trump’s policy and should not pompously meet the head of state, “whose actions go against the ideals of freedom, including freedom of religion, and equality, on which America was built.”

The next day, Trump on his Twitter page called the mayor of the capital of Great Britain a loser, saying that he “in all respects does not work” in his post, and he should “focus on crime in London.” At the same time, the US President reiterated that Khan reminds him of another of his critics – the mayor of New York Bill de Blasio, with the difference that Khan is shorter.
