The former US president said that his supporters continue to check the results of the counting in Arizona and Georgia, and expressed confidence that many more unaccounted votes will be found.

Former US President Donald Trump said that he never admitted his defeat in the election.

“No, I never admitted defeat. A lot of things are happening now, but I have never admitted defeat,” he said, speaking on the conservative-leaning cable TV channel America’s Voice on Monday in response to a related question.

Trump noted that his supporters continue to check the results of the count in Arizona and Georgia, and expressed confidence that many more unaccounted-for votes will be found.

The US presidential election was held on November 3, 2020. The Electoral College on December 14, 2020, approved the results of the vote, according to which the Democrat Biden won. On January 20, he was inaugurated. Trump has long appealed to the courts to conduct a recount of votes in some states, but the actions of his lawyers were not successful, their claims were rejected by the courts.
