Trump promised to share the coronavirus vaccine with other countries

The US will be ready to share the coronavirus vaccine with other countries, us President Donald Trump said.

“This has never been done before. We mass-produce candidate vaccines in advance so that the first day it is approved. It is immediately available to Americans. We will probably have quite a few (vaccines) for people around the world,” Trump said, speaking in North Carolina.

He recalled that the US has already agreed with the most promising manufacturers to supply hundreds of millions of tons of the vaccine.

“We are organizing a huge production mobilization to ensure rapid delivery (of the vaccine), nothing like this has happened since World War II,” Trump said.

The US holds a sad lead in the world in the number of cases of coronavirus (more than 4.2 million) and deaths of patients with the virus (more than 147 thousand).
