Trump promised to pardon one “very important person”

US President Donald Trump said that on Tuesday he would pardon a “very important person,” without specifying who exactly he was talking about, according to journalists of the presidential pool.

Trump said that on Tuesday, he would issue an Executive order pardoning “a very, very important figure.” Still, it would not be Edward Snowden or former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Earlier, Trump said that he would seriously study Snowden’s situation for a possible pardon, although he admitted that he was not familiar with the story.
