Trump plans to increase the US military budget

The US President Donald Trump intends to request from the US Congress $750 billion for military purposes in fiscal year 2020, which will begin on October 1, 2019. This is reported, citing sources in the us administration.

Sources said that on March 11, the White House will publish a budget request to Congress.

According to the request of $576 billion is proposed to spend more on basic expenditures of the Pentagon. Also, the US administration intends to “significantly increase the financing of foreign operations,” the sources said.

It is noted that in the 2019 fiscal year, the defense budget of the United States is $716 billion.
