The former U.S. President Donald Trump asked his successor Joe Biden if he plans to apologize for the mistakes made during the evacuation from Afghanistan in a speech on this issue expected on Friday.
“Afghanistan under Biden is not a withdrawal of troops, and it is surrender. Will he apologize for the greatest tactical mistake in history – the withdrawal of troops before our citizens was taken out?” said Trump in a message distributed by his press service.
Biden is expected to appeal in the coming minutes in connection with the situation around the evacuation of Americans and Afghans working for them from the Kabul airport.
Earlier, U.S. representatives said that they do not have accurate information about how many American citizens remain in Afghanistan, where last Sunday, the Taliban took control of Kabul.
