Trump nominated Brouillette to head the US Department of energy

President Donald Trump has announced that he is nominating Dan Brouillette for energy Secretary. Mr. Brouillette is now Deputy Head of the Department.
“I am pleased to nominate Deputy Minister Dan Brouillette for the position of Minister of Energy. Dan’s experience in this area is unparalleled. A true professional, I do not doubt that Dan will do a great job!”, “Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter. He thanked incumbent Energy Secretary Rick Perry for “the outstanding work he has done.”

Earlier, Mr. Trump said that Energy Secretary Rick Perry will remain in office until the end of 2019. Before that, the media announced Mr. Perry’s resignation.
