Trump must decide on the participation of his lawyers in the impeachment process

The House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to the President setting a deadline for a decision.

The House Judiciary Committee outlined a deadline during which President Donald Trump can report on the involvement of his legal team in the process of investigating a possible impeachment.

The President must notify the Committee no later than December 6 about the possible participation of his legal counsel to provide evidence, including from people who were present during Trump’s telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The Judiciary Committee is due to begin considering the outcome of the impeachment investigation next week to decide on the possible submission of articles of impeachment for a vote in the lower house of Congress. The Committee sent the President a two-page letter saying that Trump must notify congressmen of his lawyer’s involvement in the impeachment process no later than 17: 00 et on Friday, December 6.
