Trump joked about “Russia’s fault” in the unrest in the US

US President Donald Trump jokingly suggested blaming Russia for the wave of protests in some states.

On Twitter, the US leader responded to a member of the House of Representatives, Jerrold Nadler, on the statement that the violence by supporters of the “Antifa” movement is fictional. He called their activities illegal, and the members of the organization anarchists.

“Jerry, blame it on Russia, Russia, Russia!” Free News quotes Trump’s message.

In Portland and several other cities in the United States since the end of May, protests have been held, turning into riots that began after the death of an African-American man, George Floyd, in Minneapolis at the hands of police.

Trump has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of state and municipal authorities, which, in his opinion, do not take the necessary measures to restore order. In this regard, in some cases, military and Federal police officers were brought into the cities, which caused dissatisfaction with local authorities, who mainly represent the Democratic Party of the United States.
