Trump hopes that Meghan Markle will run for president of the United States

The Republican previously said that he intends to make a final decision on possible participation in the election later.

Former US President Donald Trump expects that the wife of Prince Harry Meghan Markle will run for the post of head of the US administration from the Democrats. The former head of the White House said this on Tuesday on Fox News.

Trump was asked to comment on reports that Markle allegedly considered such a possibility and met with representatives of the US Democratic Party. “I hope that it will be so. If this happens, I will be even more inclined to run. I’m not a fan of her,” Trump replied. The Republican previously said that he intends to make a final decision on possible participation in the elections later.

Trump recalled the recent interview of Prince Harry and Markle with American TV host Oprah Winfrey. In this regard, he stressed that he had met with Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. “I think the Queen is a wonderful person,” the Republican said.

The interview between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attracted a lot of public interest. Speaking to Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex said she was shocked by “talk about how dark the skin can be” of her son Archie when he is born. Also, she stressed that she was literally ready to go to suicide during pregnancy because of the pressure exerted by some representatives of the royal family and the media and social networks.
