Trump hinted that he “will have” to participate in the U.S. presidential election

The former U.S. president said that he does not consider the current head of state Joe Biden competent enough for the post. The current administration is strengthening the split in American society.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said that the current situation in the country leaves him no other option but to participate in the presidential elections in 2024. He said this on Monday in an interview with Fox News.

“I think we will have no choice. Everything is moving to the point that we simply will not have a choice,” Trump said in response to a question about his possible participation in the next US presidential election campaign.

He called “the biggest shame in the history of the country” the way the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan was carried out.

Trump said that he does not consider the current U.S. President Joe Biden competent enough for the post and that the current administration is strengthening the split in American society. “They keep saying that they want to unite people, that they want to be inclusive, but they are not,” the ex-president expressed his opinion.

However, as Fox News points out, at the moment, it is unknown whether Donald Trump will officially declare his candidacy and when he will do it.
