President Donald Trump has threatened to impose duties on European cars if the EU does not lift duties on American lobsters.
“This will be the “equivalent plus,” — said the head of the White House.
Trump was outraged that the same lobsters supplied by Canada to European countries are not subject to duties.
He said that now European cars are entering the American market “for free, which is strange.”
The head of state recalled that earlier in the negotiations with the EU, he had already threatened to impose duties on cars, and these warnings “immediately led to Europe canceling duties” on certain American goods.
