Trump has threatened China about the response to the US duty increase

US President Donald Trump said that China should not take retaliatory measures to increase duties on the part of the United States, as this “will only get worse.”

“There will be nobody left in China to do business with. Very bad for China, very good for the USA! But China has taken so the advantage of the U.S. for so many years, that they are way ahead (Our Presidents did not do the job). Therefore, China should not retaliate-will only get worse!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
He noted that he told both Chinese President Xi Jinping and “other friends in China” that Beijing would suffer greatly if it did not conclude a deal because the companies would be forced to move from China to other countries.

“It is too expensive to buy in China. You had a great deal, almost completed, and you refused,” Trump added.

It was reported that import tariffs will be increased from 10% to 25%.

Trump himself, however, wrote on Twitter that he received a letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping with an invitation to work together.
“He just wrote me a beautiful letter, I just received it, and maybe I’ll talk to him on the phone, but look, we have two great alternatives, our country has fantastic success,” Trump said. – Our alternative is great, which I talked about for years. We will receive more than $100 billion a year from China.”
