The number of deaths from coronavirus in the US is approaching 100,000.
US President Donald Trump said that he ordered flags to be lowered on Federal buildings in memory of those who died from the coronavirus, the number of which is approaching 100,000.
According to Trump, the decree will be in effect all weekend on the occasion of Memorial Day, when flags are usually lowered in memory of fallen soldiers.
“I will fly flags at half-mast on federal buildings and national monuments for the next three days in memory of the Americans whose lives were taken by the coronavirus,” Trump tweeted.
Currently, the number of deaths from coronavirus in the United States is more than 95,000 people.
