The President of the United States Donald Trump is going to sign the budget act prepared by the congressional to avoid the recurrence of “shutdown”. However, the bill does not provide the necessary amount for the construction of the wall on the border with Mexico. To fulfill his main campaign promise, Trump is going to introduce a state of emergency.
“The President Trump will sign a bill to Finance the Federal government, he will also take other measures, including the announcement of the state of emergency, to stop the humanitarian crisis on our border. The President fulfills his promise to build a wall, to protect the border and our great country,” White House press Secretary Sarah Sanders said.
The state of emergency will be able to put an end to the conflict between Trump and the Democrats over the construction of the wall, as it will allow to get 7 billion dollars for the project bypassing Congress.
Earlier, Trump has repeatedly stated his readiness to introduce a state of emergency.
“The law on this matter is clear — I mean that we have every right to introduce a state of emergency in the country. If we don’t make a deal with Congress, I probably will. I don’t see why I didn’t, I have a right to. The law is 100% on my side,” he said on January interview with FREE NEWS.
