According to the President of the United States, Krebs’ last statement on security for the elections was very uncertain; they had many violations and fraud.
The current President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that he fired the head of the cybersecurity and infrastructure Agency (CISA) of the US Department of homeland security, Christopher Krebs.
“Chris Krebs’ last statement about the security of the 2020 election was very inaccurate; there were many violations and fraud, including the voting of “dead souls,” observers were not allowed to the polling stations, “failures” in the voting machines that gave votes for Trump to Biden, late voting and much more. Consequently, from this moment on, Chris Krebs is dismissed as Director of the Agency for cybersecurity and infrastructure,” the American leader wrote on Twitter.
Trump noted that foreign countries did not have the ability to interfere in the past election, which was the only aspect of their security.
Earlier, it reported that Krebs expects to be fired. The Agency claimed that the White House was previously dissatisfied with the web site’s content that CISA launched during the election to refute various misinformation related to the electoral process. In particular, this portal stated that the allegations about the involvement of the US Democratic Party in mass election fraud are false. The white house allegedly demanded that this data be deleted or changed, but CISA employees refused to do so.
