Trump expressed confidence in the safety of US nuclear weapons in Turkey

US President Donald Trump said he was confident that American nuclear weapons in Turkey are in complete safety.

“We are sure we have a very strong airbase there. This airbase alone can provide us with many indicators. And do not forget that Turkey is a member of NATO,” Free News quoted him as saying.

He made the corresponding statement in connection with the fact that earlier the New York Times, citing sources, reported that the United States discussed the possibility of exporting 50 units of American nuclear weapons from the Incirlik military base in the southern Turkish province of Adana.
