Trump did not rule out the possibility of introducing a quarantine in New York

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he does not rule out the introduction of quarantine in several states, including New York, which involves restricting the movement of citizens.

“We are looking at a few things. Some people want to see New York quarantined. Maybe new Jersey, maybe a couple of other States. Maybe part of Connecticut will be quarantined. I’m thinking about it right now. Maybe we can do it. But maybe we won’t. This may happen at some time today,” he told reporters.

He added that it could be a two-week quarantine with restrictions on entry and exit from the state. According to trump, some New Yorkers are trying to go to Florida, which cannot be allowed because of the pandemic.
