Trump declared a state of emergency in Texas because of hurricane Hanna

US President Donald Trump declared a state of emergency in Texas, which was affected by hurricane Hanna, the White House said.

“Today, President Donald Trump declared an emergency in the state of Texas and ordered Federal assistance,” the White House said in a statement.

Hurricane Hanna made landfall on the Texas coast on Saturday and then began to weaken. About 300 thousand consumers were left without electricity due to a wire break.
