President Donald Trump has criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom for mismanagement, blaming him for the state’s ongoing fires.
In California, raging powerful wildfires, the spread of which contributes to strong winds. Earlier it was reported that because of the fires without electricity are millions of people, hundreds of thousands evacuated.
“California Governor Gavin Newsom has done an abominable job of forest management. In our first meeting, I told him that he should “clean” the surface of the soil in the forest, despite what his bosses demand from him-fighters for the environment… Every year, when fires rage and California burns, the same thing happens, and he comes to the Federal authorities for financial help. Enough,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
Last November, severe wildfires in California killed 86 people, destroyed about 14,000 homes, 528 commercial buildings and more than four thousand other structures. According to eyewitnesses, the rapid spread of fire contributed to both strong winds and a large number of dried trees and shrubs, which local authorities forbid to remove for the sake of preserving natural conditions.
