Trump congratulated the British Prime Minister on the victory of the conservatives in the elections

The US President suggested that the victory of the Conservative party in the UK could be a “harbinger” of the results of the elections in 2020 in the US.

Donald Trump has congratulated British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the Conservative party’s” stunning victory “in parliamentary elections and suggested it could be a “harbinger” of the results of the US presidential election in 2020. Trump said this during his white house meeting with Mario Abdo Benitez, the President of Paraguay.

“I want to congratulate Boris Johnson on his stunning victory. I think this may be a harbinger of what is coming in our country. That was the last time. I’m sure people will be happy to hear about it,” Donald Trump said.

He clarified that while the UK continues to count votes, the result of the conservatives is “stunning.”

Donald Trump called Boris Johnson his friend and suggested that the victory of the party led by him will benefit the United States. “This means rapid trade, incredible volumes of trade. They want to do business with us,” Trump said, adding that it was “very difficult” for the UK to do business with the US within the European Union.
