Trump confirmed his commitment to the protection of human rights

The US President issued a proclamation dedicated to Human Rights Day.

President Donald Trump reaffirmed his commitment to the cause of human rights and assured that the United States will continue to defend individual freedom.

The US President made these assurances in a proclamation marking Human Rights Day, which is celebrated on December 10.

“The United States has always been at the forefront of this struggle, and we will always speak out in defense of individual freedoms and against all forms of enslavement,” the proclamation reads.

Trump also reiterated the US’s intention to protect “the rights that were given to people by God himself and to protect people against abuses of government power.”
