Trump commented on the dynamics of COVID-19 distribution in other countries

US President Donald Trump said that some large countries, including Russia, would have received a different, less optimistic picture of the spread of coronavirus infection if people were tested as intensively as in the US.

The head of the White House also said that the United States has the “best and most intensive” system of testing for coronavirus, which explains the high number of infections reported in the country daily.

At the same time, Trump added that at the moment in the United States, the death rate from coronavirus is at one of the lowest levels in the world, and also recalled the active therapy and successful work on the vaccine.
According to Johns Hopkins University, on July 13, there are 3,336,154 detected cases of coronavirus in the country, the number of fatal cases is 135,400.

The spread of a new type of coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19, began at the end of December last year. The focus of infection was the Chinese city of Wuhan. In March, the WHO declared a coronavirus pandemic.
