The document claims that the US President’s doubts about military assistance to Kyiv were justified because of corruption in Ukraine.

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump welcomed the report of Republicans, which rejects the main arguments of Democrats in the investigation of the impeachment of the head of the White House.

“Just landed in the UK to attend the NATO summit. Before landing, read the Republican report on impeachment fraud,” Trump noted on Monday night on his Twitter page. – Great job! Read the transcripts [of conversations with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky], can we go to the Supreme Court to stop this?”

According to the report, Trump’s doubts about military aid to Kyiv were justified because of corruption in Ukraine. In addition, Republicans categorically rejected the Democrats’ accusations against Trump about the intention to derive political benefits from the investigation against the family of the former Vice President of the United States and one of the most likely candidates from the Democratic Party in the 2020 election, Joseph Biden. The report also denies any attempt by the White House chief to prevent witnesses from testifying in the impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives.
