Trump called the Democrats launched impeachment coup

US President Donald Trump called the situation with the process of his impeachment, launched by the House of Representatives, a coup.

“I conclude that what is happening is not impeachment, but a coup,” Trump wrote on Twitter. According to him, all this is done to take away people’s votes, their freedoms, religion, the army, the border wall and their rights as citizens of the United States.

Earlier, trump made a video address in connection with the situation around the impeachment, in which he said that the actions of the Democratic Party are “a huge hoax.”

On September 25, Democratic house speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the start of Trump’s impeachment proceedings and instructed six lower house committees to launch an investigation into his actions. The reason for this was leaked in the media related to the conversation of the US leader with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky.
