Trump called the candidate for the post of Air Force Minister

US President Donald Trump has officially announced his proposal to nominate 68-year-old Barbara Barrett for the post of Minister of the US Air Force.
He wrote about it on his Twitter.

“I am pleased to announce the nomination of Barbara Barrett from Arizona, former Chairman of the Aerospace Corporation, as Air Force Minister. She will be an outstanding Minister!”— wrote the head of the White House.

Businesswoman and American diplomat Barbara Barrett during her career was a member of the Board of the California Institute of technology, worked in the jet propulsion Laboratory of RAND Corporation and other scientific institutions.

From 2008 to 2009, she served as U.S. Ambassador to Finland. She was also a senior adviser to the United States Mission to the UN.
