Trump called Russia the only winner of the summit in Geneva

Former US President Donald Trump said that Washington did not get anything from the summit of American and Russian leaders Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin, and the meeting went well for Moscow.

“We didn’t get anything, we gave the stage to Russia, we didn’t get anything,” he said in an interview with Fox News.

Trump added that the US could not stop “Nord stream-2,” which was important to do.

According to the ex-president, Russia has benefited from the summit. “I think it was a good day for Russia,” he said.

Trump also said that Russian-American relations could be “incredible.” “They need the economy, and we need the things they have. They have very valuable land in terms of mineral resources,” he said.

At the same time, the former head of the White House made a statement that he got along well with Vladimir Putin. “But no one has been tougher on Russia than I have,” Trump said.
