Trump called on Congress to approve the allocation of $ 250 billion to help small businesses

Approval of funding has stalled due to disagreements between Democrats and Republicans.

President Donald Trump said on Friday that Congress should approve without delay and without making any additions a measure to provide new assistance to small businesses in the amount of $ 250 billion. Because of disagreements between Republicans and Democrats, congressmen cannot agree and allocate additional funding to help small businesses.

“Democrats are blocking a $ 251 billion increase in small business funding that will help [small businesses] keep their employees. This should only be done for this reason, without making any additions. We are planning a big fourth phase of aid, with funding infrastructure, payroll tax cuts, and other measures. Most rehabilitation of the economy!» – wrote President in his Twitter.
