Trump boasted of supporting police officers

President of the United States Donald Trump said that 355 thousand members of the Order of the police brotherhood expressed their support for him in the upcoming presidential elections.

Trump, with the caption “a great honor for me,” retweeted the Order’s message on Twitter, which reads that “on behalf of the 355,000 members of the order of the police fraternity, we are proud to express our support for Donald Trump in the presidential election.”

On Friday, Fox News reported that 175 law enforcement officers, both active and already retired, supported the candidate from the Democratic party of the United States, Joe Biden. According to the channel, among them are former sheriffs, former state prosecutors, and current American prosecutors.

The order of the police fraternity is one of the largest police unions in the United States.
