Trump and the US Congress agreed on temporary financing of the government

The White House and the US Congress have agreed on a short-term resumption of full funding of the Federal government. This was announced by us President Donald Trump, speaking on Friday in the Pink garden of the White House.

“I am very pleased to announce today that we have agreed,” the American leader said, speaking about the dialogue between the Executive and Legislative branches of government aimed at resolving the budget crisis. “Soon I will sign a bill that will allow to resume the work of our government for three weeks, until February 15,” he said. “I ask the leader of the Republican majority in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, to submit immediately this proposal for consideration,” Trump added.

At the same time, Trump threatened to introduce a state of emergency on the border with Mexico on February 15, if the Democrats do not agree on funding for the construction of the wall.
