Trump accused Biden of approving the “Nord stream-2”

Former US President Donald Trump said that he stopped the “Nord stream-2” gas pipeline, and the current American leader Joe Biden allowed it.

According to him, the head of the White House will bring the economy of the United States to a collapsed state. “Biden canceled the American Keystone XL pipeline and its 48 thousand jobs for American workers, but he approved the Russian pipeline to Europe. I stopped the pipeline to Europe, I imposed sanctions on them from top to bottom,” the politician said.

Trump also added that Germany pays Russia billions of dollars for the pipeline, and Washington protects Berlin from Moscow. “I told Angela [Merkel, the German Chancellor] — I like her, I get along well with her, but she is tough, smart, and enjoys the United States,” he said.

The politician added that the United States has achieved American energy independence, which “will come to an end.” “We will buy oil in the Middle East, we will buy oil in Russia,” the former American leader predicted.

To date, the “Nord stream-2” is 95 percent ready. It was planned to put into operation at the end of 2019, but due to American restrictive measures, the launch date had to be postponed several times.
