Tim Ryan is out of contention for the Democratic presidential nomination

Now there are 18 participants left in the election race.

In the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination, there was one less participant: Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan announced his withdrawal from the race.

Ryan, who holds moderate political views, expected to gain the support of workers who turned away from the Democratic Party in 2016 and voted for Trump but are now unhappy with the President.

The candidate thanked everyone who supported him and said he would now focus on fighting for re-election to the House of Representatives.

Ryan did not manage to stand out among the many contenders for the 2020 nomination. He has barely budged in the polls and has not been among the participants in the last two debates.
