Thomas Müller recovers from coronavirus and resumes training

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Müller has recovered from coronavirus infection and returned to training, according to the website of the football club.

The 31-year-old German tested positive for the coronavirus during the Club World Cup two weeks ago, after which the player went home quarantine. On Thursday, Müller gave a one-to-one training session led by a fitness trainer.

Striker Serge Gnabry is also reported to have recovered from a ruptured thigh muscle and resumed training. Gnabry was injured in the final match of the club world championship with the Mexican “Tigres” (1: 0).

“Bayern” in the next match on February 27 will host “Cologne” in the German championship.
