As follows from Biden’s schedule for the upcoming day, distributed by the White House press service, the U.S. president during the meeting “will confirm the unwavering U.S. support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea,” as well as cooperation in the energy sector and support for reforms in Ukraine.

Following this, Biden’s schedule includes a weekly economic briefing.

Zelensky is on a working visit to Washington; he is due to meet with Biden today. Among the key topics is the involvement of Americans in a peaceful settlement in the Donbas and the “Nord stream-2” and guarantees of Ukraine’s energy security.
