There was a failure in the work of Facebook and Instagram

Facebook and Instagram users in different countries complain about failures in their work, according to data from the website Downdetector, which tracks failures and outages of popular Internet resources.

The first reports of problems appeared after 1 pm. Most of the people who reported Facebook crashes (mostly from the United States) complained about a problem with authorization (58%), another 20% report a complete shutdown of the social network, 21% – about failures in the news feed.

Failures that are more widespread are observed in Instagram; messages come from both the United States, and from Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and other countries. 57% of users complained about the work of the Instagram news feed, 31% complained about failures with authorization, and another 11% complained about problems with the Stories option.
