The wife of the President of Brazil was found to have COVID-19

The first lady of Brazil, Michelle Bolsonaro, has contracted the coronavirus and is under medical supervision, the press service of the head of state reported.

“Michelle Bolsonaro on Thursday, July 30 passed a test for coronavirus, the result of which was positive,” press service reported.

Her state of health is assessed as good, and it is specified that she will comply with the sanitary requirements established for such cases. “The first lady will be under the supervision of the medical staff of the presidential administration,” the press service notes.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro himself fell ill with the coronavirus in early July.
