The leaders of the two countries discussed not only the problem of fires in the forests of Siberia.
During a telephone conversation on Wednesday evening, the US and Russian presidents discussed not only the problem of forest fires in Siberia. The topic of their conversation was the issues of bilateral trade, FreeNews reported, citing White House Press Secretary Hogan Gidley.
“The leaders discussed trade between Russia and the United States,” said Gidley.
Earlier in the Kremlin reported that Donald Trump called Vladimir Putin and offered on behalf of the United States to help extinguish forest fires in Siberia. They noted that the Russian President thanked his American counterpart and expressed the hope that trump’s words would “guarantee the restoration of full-scale relations between the two countries in the future.”
The last time Putin and Trump met on June 28, during the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan. Then both leaders agreed that it is in the interests of the entire world community to improve bilateral relations.
