The White House has published lists of visitors

This practice was abandoned by the administration of Donald Trump.

The White House has released a list of official visitors, returning to the practice of the Obama administration, which was abandoned by the Trump administration.

According to the published list, in the first 12 days of President Joe Biden’s tenure, 400 people visited the White House – far fewer than in the pre-election era. At the same time, most of the meetings were virtual.

The White House said in a statement that as the epidemiological situation improves, the number of visitors would increase. The Trump administration, which has abandoned this practice, has faced legal challenges. In 2018, it allowed the monthly publication of visitor lists of some federal agencies, but not the White House.
