The White House declined to comment on Trump’s election claims

The White House does not comment on the course of legal processes initiated by the campaign headquarters of Donald Trump because of the past election; the President is seeking to count only legitimate votes, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said at a briefing on Friday.

“The President has made it clear that he wants all legal votes counted and that illegal votes are not counted,” McEnany said in response to a request for comment on the processes initiated by the headquarters.

According to the Trump headquarters, she recalled that processes were initiated in several countries due to violations but recommended that the election campaign seek clarification.

“Legal procedures continue… the violations that took place deserve attention,” McEnany added, answering a question about when Trump will be ready to admit defeat in the election.
