The video of rapper 6ix9ine scored 16 million views per day

The scandalous rapper Daniel Hernandez’s video, known by the pseudonyms 6ix9ine and Tekashi69, for the new track “ZAZA” has gained almost 20 million views on YouTube and over a million likes per day.

In the video, which Hernandez filmed with just4canon, he and his friends are dancing in a luxurious mansion among puffy girls, mountains of money, and alcohol rivers. Suddenly, a cutscene appears in the video, in which 6ix9ine sort out the relationship with hip-hop artist Mick Mill. According to the publication Complex, rappers have long been at odds with each other.

This release marks the first for 24-year-old Tekashi69 since his second studio album, “TattleTales”, last September.

This isn’t the first time a rapper’s work has exploded on the internet. Last May, his music video for the track “Gooba” set a YouTube record. The video scored 43 million views on the first day, becoming the most-watched hip-hop video in the first 24 hours (it now has almost 700 million views).

The previous record belongs to rapper Eminem with the video for the track “Killshot”, published on the platform in 2018. Then, in the first day, he scored 38.1 million views.
